I dunno, it's completely up to the users. We don't have any rules to what you want to talk about, so go crazy. (But none of that mature pony crap) And you can also make a new tread dedicated to images on seaponies if you really wanted to.

Well... we sure do mate.

In all seriousness, its just a phrase we use from time to time. But the aussies... they use it like its going out of style.

Ahh, yet another generalisation mate. Tongue

Personally I'd say some people use it way too often, and those people are usually the loud and obnoxious ones that get noticed. But for most of us Aussies it's like Talkie says, it's just a phrase.

Though I'll admit, while travelling overseas, using g'day and mate somehow instantly makes me friends with the person I say it too. Also whenever travelling I take packets of souvenir koalas to give to random people, everyone overseas seems to love em. >.<

Haha, very strange. When I traveled to Tweed Heads, everyone there was "Mate, how are ya?" and "Mate, that was rad!" so it must also be locational. And yes, I did make that out as a generalization. I was only speaking from my experience! Sorry if I was being an obnoxious kiwi, my interactions with aussies was no different than what everyone else here makes them out to be.

Anyway, it's nice to meet a brony who isn't from the states!
