Audio editing question
Does anyone know how do you do something like this?

I got very little experience with audio editing, but I would like some lines of dialogue from episodes, without the background music. Is this super hard to do? It doesn't have to be perfect really, but I would love if someone who knows more about this stuff could point me in the right direction

RE: Audio editing question
By far the easiest way to do this (the way the uploader did it, actually) is to grab a copy of the 5.1 mix audio (usually with a 1080p source). If you're unfamiliar with how 5.1 surround works, you have audio divided up into five speakers: three in the front, two in the back. It looks like:

The center speaker (top middle) is normally reserved for all dialogue. If you can remove all four left and right channels through any video or audio editing software, you can export the center only and get crystal clear dialogue.

Here I've highlighted the dialogue channel in Vegas of S1ep1:

RE: Audio editing question
Come to think of it, I don't have any episodes with 5.1 audio, and I have no idea where you'd get that Tongue

But it's not a problem, I got everything I needed from TerriccotaPie's link Smileb

RE: Audio editing question
Vegas actually has some pretty damn awesome audio editing, I sometimes sit down with 5.1 Pink Floyd mixes and screw around with channel isolation and reverb.
