12, I bet!

Though you know me, I'm not one for flashiness. My upcoming video may charge that...

I hear the masking tool is more powerful, but I have yet to take advantage of that.

Welp, i went ahead and got myself Vegas 12. Already loving it.
It's also funny that you should mention masking, because i tried it for the first time in my Equestria Girls challenge entry.

Nothing major, but enough to make me feel proud after trying something i wasn't familiar with.

What if I told you you could embed Vegas files within Sony Vegas?

REALLY helpful when doing multilayer masking, or when you need to apply effects to a completed, but non uniform scene.

When ghetto after effects can't get the job done, paste into a new file and embed. It's the same as merging split clips, which Vegas is incapable of doing.

VideoPad Video Editor? Looks like... Ghetto Sony Vegas.

And if Sony Vegas is really just Ghetto After Effects, then jeez it must be a pain in the ass doing effects on that.

It's actually not that hard, you just don't have a lot of choices. I have to get really creative if I want to do anything beyond WMM level effects.

One day, I shall have enough money to buy Sony Vegas. And what a glorious day it shall be! Big Grin
