Hello everyone! Dae314 here this weekend with a normal post for once. That’s right I’m not going to address you as cupcakes or role play as Zordon/Sherlock this time. Nope. Just straight writing. You and me. And today we’re talking about a video that’s near and dear to everyone’s hearts, “Waiting Lessons” by ObbsessiveBookworm . (note the space and . after the name he/she is obbsessive after all). Everypony waiting for season 5 raise your left hoof. Everypony not waiting for season 5 stop reading this post and watch seasons 1-4. Waiting Lessons are lessons we all need right now, and Obbsessive drives that lesson into us with large raindrops, melancholy music, and slick editing. Getting the obvious out of the way, I don’t know about you but I absolutely loved the scenes where rain was used. It fit well and wasn’t too obnoxious. The rain went away when it should have gone away and it came back when it should have come back. Scene selection throughout the video was decent although the flashing border in the middle was a little lazy in my opinion. The border colors tended to match the scenes but something with a little more impact would have been welcome. I’m not so sure the waiting lesson was conveyed very well because at the end of the video I was aching for some new episodes. Perhaps a revisit to some of the awesome old episodes Obbsessive drew from would satisfy the beast at least for a little while. So please enjoy the video then go back to waiting impatiently like you were before you watched the video.

This PMV has got a very nice tone behind it. At first I was unsure about it, yet after a min it really grew. With use of scenes that subtly sync with the background music, becoming very nice to experience. This mane pony for this one is Twilight, who… Wait… there is actually not a single scene where we see alicorn Twilight in this one, Interesting. Nothing against Alicorn Twilight, But it is nice to see good PMV’s can still be made from before that time.
Its a very bright video, In both the sense of lighting and feeling, Which keeps with it enjoyable tone.
I approve This.
[Added Info]: Feelings, describes what we experience when we touch something or use another sensory organ to experience something, while Emotions refer to such things as experiencing happiness, joy, fear or anger.
Um…. good crack of dawn and a pleasant breakfast time to everyone! (Hope you found the best thing since sliced bread)
These days, I realize I hibernate a lot (not really, part-time keeps you busy these days) and wish I could really just hide away in a cottage like her’s above where history will be written that I’ve been obscured to oblivion or at least that’s what dramatic modern day poets like to write these days.
These days it’s also becoming a rarity (shoot me for 50 points) to find minimalist videos that can have quite the powerful statement just like the song used here that fits Fluttershy to a tee (missing r) and heck, sounds like her too according to me when inebriated but that’s usually my state I’m in these days. Besides, I love those blended layers with the subtle rays on the many vectors panning across various gradient backgrounds with simple typography, and I just wish that stuff like this would be popular these days because remember, it’s how use you use ’em not what you got.
These days the annoying lists keep fascinating me well uh, actually since those days a while back and thus it still proceeds ’til to this day, that or I’m causing serious agitation to readers everywhere:
1.Smooth and thematic
2.Layering precisely done
3.Nice use of typography
4.Effects seriously augment the vibe of the video
5.Kids these days….. *shot*
Check what out the magic that editors like to pump out these days BELOW:
P.S. That Rarity in the end is necessary for 100% full body experience to exorcise the stress you have from modern day society stress that only progressively increase these days
P.S.S I would give a dime to everyone for each time “these days” were spotted but I have an inkling that I’ll be butchered first for irritating everyone… sigh times are rough these days…..
