Hello everyone! Today, I bring you a Hero vs Villain-type of PMV. Very simplistic, with some typography but the ambient fits well with the heroic song. The villains may cause havoc anywhere in Equestria, and when that happens, war happens. War between the heroes and the villains. But no matter what, the 6 heroes will always win.
Hello everypony! Today, I bring you a really neat PMV by ESB. Pretty dramatic and sad if you ask me. Everything rolls slowly and calmly with the song, added with some color filters and few typographies. I found myself singing to the song since I’ve listened to it before, though a diferent version (remix) and got some feels watching this. Overall, the video looks nice and beautiful. Go check it out!
2014 has ended and now we move to a new year of 2015. 2014 was a great year of pony content and to celebrate here’s a PMV created by 4SuitTheUnicorn. Filled with a compilation of clips and content from the best brony videos of the year. Hope to see some more amazing content from the brony community this year!
Sisters. A very nice PMV by ObbsessiveBookworm. Happy and colorful, featuring the sisters from the show. This video has some great scenes both sad and happy moments of the sisters we know. No matter what happens, they will always be together. The song track for this is very fitting and beautiful and matches every clip in the editing of this. It’s really nice to see a PMV dedicated to the sisters, and this is one of them.
Today, I bring you a very neat, simple 6-minute PMV. Featuring the elements of harmony themselves, shown with there adventures and battles they’ve had through out the show. An instrumental song with guitars and drums to match the clips, is action-y. The video itself it’s pretty simple concept, with clips from the show and almost no filters or effects used in this 6 minute-long video. There are a few occasional times where the clips don’t really match that well with the music, but overall, it’s a pretty cool, simple PMV.
A PMV based on the song Hey brother! by Avicii, and focused on Twilight and Shining Armor.
This video uses some great scenes from the episode A Canterlot Wedding Part 1-2, also the typography effects are loyal to the original video. Personally, I recommend this song as it’s one of my favorites in this time of the year.
Anyway, you should be strong in this time with the claims of Hasbro, because all the fandom is supporting us. Stay awesome!
I have been watching Aftermath for quite awhile and I have come to very much enjoy his music. He always seems to come up with original beats for all his remixes. While he has some truly stunning visuals for the majority of his videos, I have been waiting for someone to do a PMV of one of his remixes.
First off, I love the effects used in the first 7 seconds of the video. They seem to fit that part of the song almost perfectly. The slight use of a vignette gives the PMV that dark eery feel that the song has. From the looks of this PMV I can see that SpectraPony has a very good understanding of what scene should go with what part of the song. Not by directly listening to beats or lyrics, but by knowing what feels the best. I do however have a few recommendations for the PMV. It could has use a bit more attention payed to the lip-syncing. I understand that it is a very lyrical song. But I feel a bit more attention payed to the lip-syncing could have gone a far way. Also, There were a lot of scenes from Magic Dual. Though it was a great episode, I feel it would have been nice to have a little more diversity. Either way, I very much enjoyed this PMV, and hope everyone else does as well!
Whats better than a Lyric Video? Ok fine, ponies might be better. But then, how great would a Lyric Video PMV be?!?
Tonight we bring an upbeat fun PMV done by BronyApproved. The PMV itself has excellent scene choice, and lip syncing that lines up almost perfectly. The typography portion also brings cards to the table. BronyApproved used great fonts and vibrant colours to really capture the attention of the viewer. I loved seeing scenes of season 4 placed throughout the PMV. This was a really great PMV lyric video, but I am already looking forward to more of BronyApproved’s work.
After watching many PMVs, I have come to the conclusion that whilst it is a lot the scene and music choice that make a big difference in the quality of a PMV, I have noticed that the transitions play a key role in the quality as well.
Tonight we bring you a magnificent PMV done by LunaWolfehx. The PMV is done to the enchanting song Counting Stars by One Republic. I was quite impressed at the way that this PMV caught my attention. The use of transitions and effects were powerful, but not to the point where they were overpowering. My main critique I have for this PMV is to tone down the brightness. I understand the look that they were going for, but at times it made it hard to see the scenes. But overall, I very much enjoyed this PMV. I look forward to seeing more of LunaWolfehx’s work in the Future!
Today, Racecarghost1 brings us another of his videos inspired in the japanese style, overall now it’s different, he doesn’t uses the classic vectors or the retro games reference, now this is supposed to be an MLP intro of the season 3 with a little reference to the PMVs.
The lyrics in the video doesn’t help to the people that don’t know japanese language, but also, we aren’t here for understand another language, we are here to see all this effects and scenes that are combinated in a great and solid video.
It’s a little short in comparation with the another works of Racecarghost1 but overall it’s funny, colorful and entertaining.
PD: Watch the video below, have a nice day and be happy!
