I guess it's this one

Wasn't really happy with the video myself, but I'm glad some people enjoyed it and that some got interested in Ayreon's music. It's a band very close to my heart Heart

And it still holds the top spot at /r/mlpvids! I've managed four videos between #33 and #42, but the top 25 eludes me. Someday...

Anyway, where this thread is concerned, I'll take this opportunity to say I have no freaking idea how this happened. Something I put together in two weeks and that happens? It's never what you expect. That's something I haven't been able to come close to reproducing.

To this day I'm pretty sure most of the views are from people who thought it was some other 'Hero' song. There seems to be a lot of them out there.

RE: Your Most Successful Video
Most successful non-PMV:

16,000+ views, 117 likes, 0 dislikes, 169 favourites.

I don't really have a PMV that qualifies as 'most successful'.
Because the view counts are pretty low, their stats are all similar.
"Like a Shotgun", "It's Time To Party", "Rap Game", etc.
Videos that were all well recieved, but nothing concrete to seperate them.

But if i had to choose one, i'd say it was my "I'm Just a Kid" video.
Just for the fact that it was featured here. It wins by default. XD

RE: Your Most Successful Video
I reckon mine would be this one, without a doubt. Almost 237,000 views as of today. o_o The popularity of it caught me by surprise, although I guess it shouldn't have been too surprising, considering the massive size of both the MLP and Zelda fan-bases. It ended up getting featured on EqD, Zelda Dungeon, Zelda Universe, Kotaku, and even VGcats. I was stunned to see how quickly it spread across various sites. Facebook and other social networks were also a source of views. I had a fair bit of hate responses from people referred by the gaming websites, so that was fun. Lots more encouraging responses though, which inspired me to go on and do a lot more with MLP/Zelda cross-overs in the future.

This one is currently mine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJA63iRhVyg

It currently has about 3000 views, which is more then I could really begin to imagine having a couple months ago. It also happens to be my first video ever to get on EqD, and my first Applejack PMV... Jeez, this video ended up being more important then I imagined.

Mine is this one:

While technically unimpressive, I think it did a good job conveying the emotions I was going for. Plus it's my favorite song, so I'm glad it's relatively popular.

Oh wow, i totally missed this line of text when i first came here.

Lemme see...

Looking at the viewing figures depresses me a little bit, because none of my PMVs have over 400 views.
And some of them have been up for at least a year...

But anyways, the most viewed one (364 views) is this hastily thrown together Discord x Fluttershy short.

I can only assume that the extra views came from the shippers who were purposely looking for PMVs of the episode after it aired.

Damn, I love Muse songs, and that's the one of my favourites. Whole PMV is great, really good job.

I guess this is my most succesful vid, as I made only 3 yet, this one I finished 1,5 week ago, a simple typography, but it took some time, it have few really bad moments, I got lazy and had no idea what to put in that moments.

RE: Your Most Successful Video
I feel weird reviving these relativly old threads but I need someone to humour me.

This is ~technically~ my most viewed video (785 520 views) but I'm not sure whether I should be proud or not. On the one hand: I spent a rather long time poorly 'drawing'/putting together the images. On the other hand: it feels more than obvious that the reason it's so largely viewed is because of it being based on one of the big fan fictions in pony as well as being featured by PenStroke on his deviantART and fimfiction pages.
I did a remake of this with a 'prettier' sounding cover to "You'll Be in my Heart". It's my second most viewed video (jumping right down to 136 000 views). This doesn't make me feel any better. Undecided

What does make me feel better is my third most viewed video (87 335 views) Big Grin

I know the thread is call "MOST Successful Video" but I feel like the first two don't count because of what I said earlier.
To anyone who is in fact willing to humour me: am I a bad person? Sad R
LOL jk! I'm always fabulous! Moustache
In all seriousness: should I be feeling bad about this?
